W. Eugene Smith (1918 - 1978) was a member of the “Magnum Photographers” (a prominent New York based photographic co-operative), and was known for his images taken in the steel mills of Pittsburgh, PA. "Devil Goggles" is an iconic capture from 1956, and shows the intensity, determination and grit of the American steelworker. We displayed the piece in a black wood profile from Studio Moulding, Crescent mat, museum mounting and TruVue premium glazing.
