Here’s a vintage poster for a solo exhibition of artist Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1798-1861), one of the last masters of the Japanese ukiyo-e style of woodblock prints, that was held in Paris in 1950. In 2018, Fresh Artists implemented a city-wide program in Camden, New Jersey by giving students gently used smartphones to use as cameras and learn the basics of photography. “Chain and Lock on Fence,” by Alexander C. is one such piece that came from the program!
