Irish artist and graphic designer Fergus O’Neill hopes to sell 42 billion of his screen print posters, pledging one euro from every sale to halve Ireland’s banking crisis debt. He says of the project: “the bid to sell 42 billion of these posters may seem absurd but it can be deemed no more absurd than the outrageous practices and policies that landed us here. There is little we can do except be ourselves and get on with it.” This poster advertising the Poolbeg Generating Station in Dublin is archivally presented in a matte white moulding from Studio’s “Poems I” collection with Bainbridge matting and Tru Vue Conservation Clear glass.
