"The Prefontaine Classic" is considered the most prestigious annual international track and field meet held within the US. This elite venue (Hayward Field, University of Oregon) in Eugene was chosen to host a leg of the 2024 Oympic trials from June 21 - 30, where athletes gave fans a preview of what was to come in the Paris Games!
