“The Prefontaine Classic” is considered the most prestigious annual international track and field meet held within the US. This elite venue (Hayward Field, University of Oregon) in Eugene was chosen to host a leg of the 2024 Oympic trials from June 21 – 30, where athletes gave fans a preview of what was to come in the Paris Games! This one is a real treasure! Years ago, our customer got an autograph from the legendary Olympic athlete Jesse Owens! He’s cherished the autograph all these years and wanted to frame it with this photograph of the runner, along with an article written about the event from the Charleston Gazette.
