Needlework manufacturer Semco produced a series entitled “Long Stitch Originals” in 1983. Australian artist and arts writer Sera Waters endeavored to research the historical significance of these textiles. She discovered that the designs were depictions of Australian landscapes and motifs versus the more commonly produced British designs! We have archivally presented this vintage long stitch needlepoint “The Manor” in a purple profile from Bella’s “Jelly” collection, double Crescent matting, and TruVue 99% UV filtering and anti-reflective “Museum” glazing.
