“Lucy the Elephant,” located in Margate City, New Jersey, is the oldest surviving roadside tourist attraction in America! Built in 1881 by inventor James V. Lafferty, she is an eye catching six story elephant shaped example of novelty architecture. We framed this original 1970s poster in a teal wood profile from Fotiou’s “Tuscan Garden” collection, Artique matting from Larson Juhl, Kool Tack mounting, and TruVue “Premium Clear” glazing.
