Known as one of the continent’s oldest team sports, lacrosse (originally known as "The Creator's Game") was invented by Native American nations that played for social, political, and ceremonial reasons. In fact, variations of the game date back to the 12th century! We presented this reproduction of “Ball Play” by George Catlin (1796 – 1872) in a black wood profile from Larson-Juhl’s “Waterwoods” collection, Kool Tack mounting, and TruVue premium glazing.
