A Zen-like moment of stillness and peace can be contemplated in “Balance/Happy Place,” an original wood engraving by Philadelphia artist Rebecca Gilbert. Gilbert strives to create works that “…hold an air of mystery, a cold comfort, a hair-raising familiarity, and nostalgic warmth.” We presented this signed and numbered print as a float mount using a café crème toned wood burl moulding from Roma’s “Savoir” collection, Bainbridge matboard, and TruVue Conservation Clear glazing with 99% UV protection.
