Stuart M Egnal (1940 – 1966) was a Philadelphia-based artist. He attended UArts for his BFA and then UPenn for his masters, with a gap year painting in Italy. Two years into his studies at UPenn, Egnal was diagnosed with cancer, prompting him to return home, where he continued to paint for the next year and a half until his death at the age of 26.
