“Cataratas” is a vibrant serigraph by Carlos Páez Vilaró. Born in Montevideo in 1923, Vilaró’s journey began as a printing apprentice and Buenos Aires, and he grew and evolved to become one of Uruguay’s most influential artistic voices. As a founding member of the “Grupo de los 8,” he helped push the boundaries of experimental painting techniques in Uruguay and beyond. Buff Monster’s global work and multidisciplinary approach reflect the evolution of street art into a widely recognized contemporary art form.
