It may not be obvious now, but this antique Asian scroll is very brittle, and had some damage when it came in. To stabilize it, we mounted it with Kool Tack “Preserve Ultra” board which is archival and affords low temperature removal of valuable works with no residue. Matt just finished framing this amazing antique Asian scroll! You can’t tell now, but this piece is very brittle and has a two foot long tear right down the middle. To stabilize the the damaged paper, We mounted it with Kool Tack “Preserve Ultra” board which is archival and affords low temperature removal of valuable works with no residue.
