This is a signed and numbered limited edition print from an original watercolor by Howard N Watson (1929-2022), which captures the sunrise over the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Watson was an African-American watercolorist, illustrator, landscape artist, and teacher. Known for his impressionistic style, he often depicted the historical buildings, neighborhoods, streets, and iconic landmarks of the Philadelphia region. “Twilight, Boathouse Row, Philadelphia,” a print from an original Charles Cushing painting, was recently brought to our shop for reframing. Charles Cushing (b. 1959) has been a prolific Philadelphia based artist for over 40 years. The signed lithograph has been framed in a Decor “plein air” silver leaf profile, a textured Crescent Brands mat, Studio Moulding’s silver bead fillet and TruVue’s anti-reflective “UltraVue” glazing.
