During the Harlem Renaissance of the early 20th century, Artist William H. Johnson gained prominence and critical acclaim with his bright colors and bold use of shapes. This print of “Farm Couple at Well” (c. 1939-1940) is one such example of his work that depicts the everyday lives of black Americans – from the urban North to the rural South. We archivally presented this print in a distressed silver moulding from Roma’s “Gianni” collection with Tru Vue Museum glass. by Custom Picture Framer | Aug 13, 2023 | Featured, Sample Gallery | 0 comments
