A family member of our client had a career in the ‘60’s and 70’s as a graphic designer in New York City. One of their creations was this slightly risqué Revlon display mock up for Jean Nate body lotion … “So fresh, so new – there’s NOTHING you can’t do!” We decided to present the work In its entirety, including coffee stains and working notes. It’s been archivally presented in a rippled silver moulding from Roma’s “Regatta” collection and Tru Vue 99% UV filtering acrylic.

During the Harlem Renaissance of the early 20th century, Artist William H. Johnson gained prominence and critical acclaim with his bright colors and bold use of shapes. This print of “Farm Couple at Well” (c. 1939-1940) is one such example of his work that depicts the everyday lives of black Americans – from the urban North to the rural South. We archivally presented this print in a distressed silver moulding from Roma’s “Gianni” collection with Tru Vue Museum glass.
