Austrian Artist Leon Dolice (1892 – 1960) immigrated to New York City in the 1920s. He was known for his visual documentation of historical areas around the city, such as the docks, trains, and old buildings, which were beginning to change and disappear due to progress. We archivally presented this etching of “View of a Port” in a mahogany wood profile from Furst Brothers’ “Capitol” collection, Kool Tack archival mounting, and TruVue 99% UV filtering “Conservation” glazing.
