In 1973, May Pang worked for John Lennon and Yoko Ono as a personal assistant and production coordinator. After Lennon’s separation from Ono, he and May Pang began an intimate relationship lasting 18 months – a stretch of time later referred to as “The Long Weekend.” In the 2022 Film “The Long Weekend: A Love Story,” filmmaker Eve Brandstein examines the relationship Lennon and Pang had together.
