An original animation cel from the 1983 Filmation cartoon “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,” this piece features the central villain, Skeletor, holding his signature Havoc Staff! Primarily used from the 1930s to 1990s, animation cels were sheets of transparent material used to create single stop-action frames by drawing outlines on the front and filling in the back with paint. We’ve archivally presented this piece in a purple wood profile from Fotiou, matting from Crescent Brands, and TruVue 99% UV filtering and anti-reflective “Museum” glass. by Custom Picture Framer | Feb 26, 2026 | Featured, Sample Gallery | 0 comments
“We scare because we care!” This limited edition laser cel from the 2001 Disney Pixar movie Monsters, Inc. is quite a rare find! We matted it with a Bainbridge off-white mat, blocking the cel away from the background in order to achieve a 3D effect. We completed the project with a purple metallic wood moulding from Roma’s “La Galleria” collection and Tru Vue Ultra Vue glass. by Custom Picture Framer | Jan 18, 2023 | Featured, Sample Gallery | 0 comments
