Small items can be complex projects! Here’s a “First Class Relic” our customer wanted to float over a mirror so the back of the item could be in view. We drilled tiny holes in TruVue Optium Museum acrylic and laced the object with stainless steel wire. Then that layer was spaced to the front with TruVue Museum glass, Crescent matting and custom brass plaque – and to the rear with mirror. Finally, everything was housed in a mahogany toned moulding from Larson Juhl’s “Ascot” collection with depth extender to achieve a floating effect. It’s all in the details!
