Ridwan Adhami (b.1985) was at the site of the World Trade Center documenting the five year anniversary of 9/11. He photographed Munira, a Muslim woman, wearing an American flag as a hijab. More than a decade later, Adhami and renowned artist Shepard Fairey (b.1970) reincarnated the image for Amplifier’s “We The People” campaign to push back against the bigotry and intolerance exhibited during the 2016 election. We’ve archivally displayed the signed collaborative print in Roma’s “Lavo” moulding and TruVue 99% UV filtering “Conservation” glass.
