“Quails” Chromolithograph by B.H. Warren

$300.00

John James Audubon (1785-1851) was a self-taught artist, naturalist, and ornithologist, best known as America’s dominant wildlife artist. His major work, a color-plate book featuring 425 of his lithographs, “The Birds of America,” is considered the standard for ornithological works. This chromolithograph of male, female, and young quails shows off his masterful touch.
