Benton Spruance (1904-1967) was a Philadelphia native and prolific painter, printmaker, and architect. He worked as a long-term faculty member and chair of the Arts Department at Beaver College (now known as Arcadia University) here in Glenside, PA, which named its central art building after him. This book, which features a two-page spread about Spruance’s influence on the art of lithography, is sew mounted into an archival shadowbox.
