Mary Stevenson Cassatt (1844 – 1926) was an American painter, printmaker, and pastel artist who lived in Paris for most of her life. Although she never married or had children, she is best known for her delicate depictions of mothers and children in everyday moments. We presented “Family Group Reading,” an open edition print from an original oil on canvas c.1898, in an ornate silver wood profile from Omega’s “Salon” collection, Kool Tack mounting, and TruVue 99% UV filtering and anti-reflective “Museum” glazing.
