Mary Cassatt (1844 – 1926) was an artist known for her sensitive depiction of children. Rather than showing them as miniature adults, she painted them as individuals with distinct moods and personalities! In “Little Girl in a Blue Armchair,” Cassatt captures a young girl during a moment of rest, sprawled out across a chair. Is she tired from play, being reprimanded, or just bored? This reproduction print is archivally presented in a dark walnut profile from Larson-Juhl’s “Shoji” collection, Crescent matting, Kool Tack archival mounting, and TruVue 99% UV filtering and anti-reflective “Museum” glazing.
