Here’s a vintage poster for a solo exhibition of artist Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1798-1861), one of the last masters of the Japanese ukiyo-e style of woodblock prints, that was held in Paris in 1950. When it came in, its original frame wasn’t in great shape, so we upgraded it by archivally presenting it in a black moulding from Furst Bros’ “Edgar” collection and Tru Vue Conservation Clear glass.
